Actinic Keratosis

Actinic Keratosis is a common scaly patch of skin that develops due to prolonged exposure to the sun. It is usually found on the head, neck, hands and forearms. Lesions are usually removed because of the risk of skin cancer development. Protecting yourself from the sun is the best way to prevent Actinic Keratosis.

We are currently looking for volunteers for our Actinic Keratosis study.

Patients that qualify will receive at no cost:

  • Study medication
  • Study-related care from a local doctor
  • Compensation for time and travel
