Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD) is a complication that can occur in some people with diabetes. It is when the filters of the kidneys (the glomeruli) become damaged. The damaged filters of the kidneys will leak abnormal amounts of protein from the blood into the urine. This can eventually lead to kidney failure. However, with treatment, DKD can be prevented or slow the progression of the disease.
Albuquerque Clinical Trials is currently enrolling for a diabetic kidney disease study. If you are interested in learning more about this study, please go to our PARTICIPANT SIGN UP FORM and a member of our team will contact you to explain the options.
