IBS-D is a common disorder affecting the large intestine. Those affected may experience abdominal pain, bloating, gas, and diarrhea. There are many possible causes to IBS-D from muscle contractions to infection, but the triggers can be food, stress or hormones. The best way to prevent IBS-D is to manage the stress that may worsen the symptoms.
