Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a painful and debilitating musculoskeletal disease that is characterized by joint inflammation and deterioration of cartilage. OA is estimated to affect 9% of men and 18% of women worldwide.It is expected to become the fourth leading cause of disability by the year 2020 due to increase in life expectancy and aging populations.

We are currently looking for volunteers for our Osteoarthritis of the Knee study.

Patients that qualify will receive at no cost:

  • Study medication
  • Study-related care from a local doctor
  • Compensation for time and travel
